When Nextdoor sends you an email about a private message from a neighbor:
the subject of the email is neighbor's name sent you a message Re: message descriptionTerry Smith sent you a message Re: Can you babysit tonight?)
the first line of the message is neighbor's name just sent you a message:
A message that includes the phrase You just sent the following message to is a copy of a private message you sent to a neighbor.neighbor name
To reply to a private message by email:
Use the “reply” function in your email software to start a reply.
Type your message in the body of the email. (If your email software shows the initial message, type your message above the initial message.)
Send the message as usual.
